Upgrade Option 2a for the Optical Control Systems GmbH (OCS) OP5 Melt Indexer: Made under licence from MCS, OCS has introduced the OP5 Melt Indexer into their renowned product range. The OP5 is a good basic version of the more advanced Porpoise P5 analyser. Nevertheless this equipment can be converted to any level of the IMP5 technology suite. |

Upgrade Option 2b for the Porpoise P5 Melt Indexer/Rheometer: The original purpose built At-Line Melt Indexer, using the ram fed static melter principle, pioneered the Melt Indexer & Rheometer combination. Examples are used for final QA of pelletised product on 24/7 duty. The MFI information performs a crucial role reaction steering and grade changeover control. MFI information is used for certification of all customer sales. Powder product versions use the same basic equipment and are suitable for the closed loop control of the Zeigler-Natta polymer plant. |
