A new
generation of rheometers.
The world is always changing.
Products enter their life cycle, shine and then decay. Older rheometers are
now outclassed by new designs. The spread of twin bore systems ( originating
from ICI many years ago ) is now becoming commonplace , even if a little
confused in the application. The electronics available for the drives and
heating systems has changed beyond recognition over the past few years.
The computers used to control and analyse rheometers have also changed
dramatically.
To compete in this evolving market , what do Porpoise bring ?
-
Twin Bore design.
-
High Power drive
-
Large temperature range
-
Good user interface.
-
Immediate Export into CAD
-
Good ergonomic
design
-
Range of optional test types to
suit you
-
High precision
-
High accuracy
-
High MTBF
-
Ease of service
All of these features together makes a top of the range rheometer that more than competes with older
designs at the end of their life cycle. However, this does not address two of the commonest problems in
rheometry :-
- the production of poor data,
- and the poor use of the data.
Porpoise address the production of poor data by having intelligence built into the
rheometer user interface. The user is advised about how to make good
measurements, as well as being advised on the goodness of the results.
Porpoise address the second problem by including commentary on the results by the
intelligent rheometer. The user can also see the effect of the data on various
simple and complicated flow systems.
